conference theme and focus:

CONTACT HOURS

  • Anticipated Contact Hours:  6 per day / 12 for full conference 
  • Required each conference day: Attendance (documented using sign-in/out sheets for in-person and log-in/out records for virtual) and completion of a post-conference evaluation/survey. 
  • Upon completion of all requirements, certificates will be distributed within two weeks of the conference via U.S. mail or email.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

1. Analyze the impact of executive functioning deficits on the occupational performance of students. 

2. Demonstrate the ability to use at least three (3) resources to develop and defend a manageable workload.

3. Develop an understanding of the role that school-based OTs can play in addressing mental health issues.

4. Recognize the importance of mindfulness in school-based OT practice, as it relates to therapeutic intervention as well as therapist wellness

5. Develop a plan to apply the CO-OP Approach in current practice

6. Identify opportunities to incorporate presented methods, tools, and strategies to address self-regulation within current practice
