CONTINUING EDUCATION

This event includes the opportunity to earn 6-12 hours of continuing education. Please retain your certificate of completion. For state licensure or other credential renewal, contact those agencies for information about your reporting responsibilities and requirements.

CE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS: To receive CE and a completion certificate, you will be required to:

  • Check-in at the beginning of each conference day and after lunch
  • Complete the course evaluation at the end of the period for which you registered (single day or full conference)
  • Participants not fulfilling these requirements will not receive a certificate. Failure to fulfill the requirements will result in forfeiture of payment and credit for the entire session. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit for a session is not available.


  • Upon completion of all requirements, certificates will be distributed within two weeks of the conference via U.S. mail or email.
  • While every effort has been made to ensure that this conference meets continuing competency standards, participants are responsible for ensuring that this event satisfies the requirements for their particular situation and location.  

(Note: The Best Practices in School-Based OT is coordinated by Careerfull LLC, a continuing education company and AOTA-approved provider of continuing education.  The conference has not been submitted for AOTA approval.)

TARGET AUDIENCE

This event is intended for current school-based occupational therapy practitioners. The conference consists of courses at the introductory and intermediate level. Some sessions will introduce advanced-level concepts. No prerequisite courses are required, but participants should have a general understanding of school-based OT.
